Parking is provided via using our permit in public car parks which are just a short walk away.The cottage is spread across three floors, the layout is as follows: Entrance from the front door is directly into the living space, which still retains the original Blue Lias flagstones. At the rear of the living space there are two steps up into the kitchen (mind your head). Access to the patio is made through a further 3 steps up from the kitchen. The larger garden is accessed up the small footpath. At the rear of the living area are the stairs to the first floor which has one double bedroom and the family bathroom, at the end of the landing are the stairs to second floor which is where the other two bedrooms are located.Each bedroom and the living room is equipped with Smart TV's. The bathroom has both a good sized bath and rainfall shower, and the kitchen is fitted with a washer/dryer plus compact dishwasher to make your stay as relaxing as possible.Parking is provided at the public carpark (1 minute walk away) via an electronic permit. Crewkerne is quaint market town punching above it's weight with number of independent offerings waiting for you to explore. Mrs B's, Bibly's or Mortimers bakery are all favourites for a light bite over lunch time, not forgetting Barley Sugar Bakehouse open Saturdays only. For evening meals we would recommend any one of The Crooked Swan, The White Hart, Bar 5 (great pizza), or even the local fish and chip shop, Tucker's (very generous portions). Slightly further afield, Lord Poulett Arms and Pip's Railway Carriage are all super.Other highlights, Bincombe Beeches is a short walk with some fantastic views over the town, the play area at Henhayes Lane / behind the Aqua centre is perfect for smaller children and the newly opened Board Game Bar is a great place to visit with friends.Further afield, the fantastic Jurassic Coast is easily accessible, with a choice between Lyme Regis, West Bay and Charmouth. The Golden Cap circular route is also very popular with guests. Inland, Ninesprings in Yeovil is a great place to explore with children. Exeter is easily reached either by car or train with lots on offer.
