We can't wait to welcome you!The spaceAs you approach the lodge, you will see it boasts an enviable position on the banks of the Westlands lake with stunning, peaceful views across the lake and to the countryside beyond.The large, wraparound decking makes the most of the views with the lake on two sides, outdoor furniture and of course the large 8 person hot tub. Enjoy the hot tub at any time of year and with the views across the lake it's a real tonic for the stresses and strains of everyday life!Enter the lodge to find a large, spacious and beautifully presented open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area with everything you could need for the perfect stay.The sitting area has comfortable sofas, smart TV and for the colder months an electric feature fire making the lodge a cosy, welcoming haven from everyday life. Relax in front of the TV after a fun packed day exploring everything our beautiful region has to offer or, enjoy family games night with the selection of board games we have included for you to use, there's enough room for even the most boisterous game players!French doors lead out to the decking area which is simply the most perfect spot for early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine whilst watching the antics of the geese, ducks and local wildlife.The large dining table has plenty of room to seat up to 7 guests comfortably, and is nestled in the corner of the room with a large picture window to make the most of the lakeside views. For a quick breakfast or bite to eat the breakfast bar is the perfect spot.The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could need and is great for preparing a light lunch or full evening meal and as part of the main open plan living space you won't miss out on the fun and games! Don't forget, you can bring a few bottles of your favourite wine to store in the wine cooler!The master bedroom is a light and spacious room with super comfortable king size bed, dressing table and plenty of storage space for personal belongings. It boasts it's own en-suite shower room with good size shower, lovely vanity basin and heated towel rail.Bedroom 2 has a comfortable double bed, again with plenty of storage it is smaller than the master bedroom but still a good size, with it's own dressing table and wardrobe you will have everything you need for a good night sleep.Bedroom 3 is a great room which both kids and adults alike just adore! with 3 super fun and surprisingly large and comfortable bunk beds, children feel like they have their own fun space where they will love to 'hang out'!The main bathroom is spacious with a large walk-in shower, vanity unit with illuminated LED mirror and heated towel rail, the velux window means the room is flooded with light and makes showering a pleasure.For fishing enthusiasts, two of the three ponds are stocked with only the best local rainbow, blue and tiger trout up to 12lb in weight for fly fishing. Fishing is available either on catch and release basis or you can opt to keep a few to cook at home. (If you would like full details of fishing facilities and charges prior to booking please request our PDF download for details).Guests who are experienced shooters or those who would love to 'give it a go' will be thrilled with the onsite facilities on offer, the premier shooting ground comprises of up to 100 Promatic super sporter traps, throwing a large selection of targets.The layouts include Scotland’s highest high tower with four simulation traps, down the line (DTL), Skeet layout, Compak, driven flush and twenty other sporting stands including a Rabbit pair.All abilities are welcome, a dedicated team of instructors are trained to the highest standards are amongst the most experienced in the country. Instruction is offered for novice through to experienced game and clay shooters.
