Recently decorated and tucked away on the outskirts of the city, this home offers the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing and shopping. With enough space for 6 guests, the lodge can accommodate families or groups who are looking for something a little quirky. The peaceful cemetery grounds provide a beautiful backdrop to the home. You are only a 5 minute drive to town, and the canal is a 10 minute walk away.The spaceThis place has a homely feel and is decorated in keeping with its traditional character. There are some striking features such as carved stone walls and stained glass, but the rooms are bright and airy with large windows. All the bedrooms have King-size beds in them and the mattresses were recently purchased, allowing for a comfortable night's sleep.The rear garden will be undergoing some minor renovations during spring to improve the usability of this space, and therefore there may be some disruption in the early months of the year. However, this should be minimal and won't hinder your stay. It is anticipated this will be completed for summer 2023. There is a fairly busy road next to the entrance of the drive to the property, so traffic noise can be heard whilst outside. This cannot be heard once inside.Guest accessThe home and garden is yours for the entirety of your stay. You will not share any spaces with anyone else.Other things to noteThe holiday home is equipped with small hand soaps, toilet roll and basic kitchen items such as a sponge, washing liquid, bin liners and salt & pepper. If you want anything specific, such as liquid hand soap or kitchen roll, please ensure you bring this with you for your stay.If you wish to extend your stay, you must check with our team. The earlier you check, the better as we are sometimes unable to reschedule cleaning to suit. We must provide at least 48 hours notice to our cleaners.If the management team are called out to a resolve an issue where you are at fault, you will incur a £50 callout charge, i.e. if you cannot connect to the Wi-Fi, but you have unplugged the router.Pass the Keys® provides a high standard of service for short-let properties. Each property is professionally maintained and cleaned, with hotel-quality linen. We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay.You are welcome to use and enjoy the outdoor seating areas. We do kindly ask that guests clean up after themselves and leave these facilities in a state that is suitable for the next people staying, as our cleaners will be unable to provide a full garden overhaul at each changeover.IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys we require guest verification, which is provided by Superhog. Upon confirming your booking, Superhog will reach out to the lead booker through a secure link, providing detailed instructions for verification.The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided.
