From the end of July I'm looking for a nice new roommate! My preference is for a Dutch-speaking female roommate in his late twenties or early thirties who is working or combining work and study, just like me. ABOUT ME: I am 30 years old, vegetarian and from Friesland. I work at a spatial consultancy firm in Rotterdam. I do this in combination with the master's degree in Landscape Architecture at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. As a result, I usually have a busy schedule, both during the day and in the evenings and on weekends. I'm looking for someone who, like me, likes to live in a quiet and tidy house. I certainly like a party, but at home I prefer not during the week. I love to cook and try to do this with as few animal products as possible and as much harvest from the garden as possible. I like to have dinner together on a regular basis. ABOUT THE HOUSE:The bedroom that becomes available is 10.7 m2. In addition to this bedroom, there is another guest room that is the same size, handy if you have visitors. The entire house offers 92 m2 of living space and the front and back garden together are over 94 m2. We share the living room, kitchen, bathroom, guest room, garden and shed (together 174 m2). The house is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam in a quiet green neighborhood against the Bijlmerweide. Kraaiennest Metro Station and Gaasperplas are both within walking distance and offer a direct connection to the city centre. You can reach the highway within 5 minutes by car and parking nearby is free. I don't have a car myself. I prefer to do everything by bike and public transport. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and induction hob. The washing machine is located in a built-in cupboard between the kitchen and the living room. The house has a front garden on the east and a deep backyard on the west. In the garden I make an attempt to grow vegetables and there are many berries, herbs and other edible plants, but you can also just chill on the lounge set, eat at the picnic table and park your bike dry and safe.
