Dear "prospective" student! How nice that you are interested in student life in Enschede, now real life can begin. To experience a great student time, you obviously need a good foundation in a nice house. We are a house with 5 men at the moment and Kitty the Tomcat, our house cat. Unfortunately, one of us has left us and that is why we are looking for a new roommate! Our house is located on the Korte Hengelosestraat, right next to the central station of Enschede and a 2-minute walk to the Oude Markt, exactly where it all happens! The university is a 15-minute bike ride away and Saxion is within walking distance. All residents are members of a student association to get the most out of our student time. Huize De 7e Kater is a close-knit house that does enough together and where, when possible, people eat/chill/study/play sports together and so on. The unique thing about this house is its free character, which allows each resident to go their own way. The rooms are not comparable to a penthouse but the spacious living room and kitchen more than compensates for this! This is the place where most of the housemates can be found when they are at home. Whether it's to study together, to put down a royal meal, to take a small power nap on the couch, to give our house cat 'Kitty' the requested attention or to play a game of FIFA on our PS4 on our Beamer, there is always something going on in the living room. On the beautiful summer days and evenings, our roof terrace is the place to be. Equipped with a mister and homemade BBQ, many an evening is worn out here with each other or with our befriended neighbors. When it's time for dessert, the other side of the street is visited to get an ice cream from van der Poel. In short, if you want to get the most out of your student life, be able to focus on your studies and still have the freedom to do what you want, send a nice message about who you are and what you are looking for.
