A room has unexpectedly become available in my student house. It is a room on the third floor. The room is neat and furnished. The student who lives in it now is going on an internship and would like to come back when the internship is over. She is therefore making her room and furniture available for the period from July 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025.Actually, this is an excellent room for a foreign student who is here temporarily. The room is in a student house and you share the kitchen and bathroom with 3 other students. Because it is a temporary rental, there are a number of conditions attached to it. These are:1.The rent of the furnished room is € 525.00 per month.2.Advance payment for gas, water and electricity is € 47.503.Service costs € 100.004.In total, the rent includes Gas, water and electricity and service costs € 672.50 per month.5.It concerns a period of 7 months. Because it is a temporary rent without a Dutch deposit, the rent must be paid in one go.6.The total amount of the rent that must be paid at once is: 7 x € 672.50 = € 4707.507.In addition, € 750.00 must be paid for the room and € 750.00 for the furniture. If everything is in good condition when you leave, you will of course get this amount back.8.Gas, water and electricity is based on an advance. At the end of the rental period, the consumption is calculated. If you have paid too much, you will be refunded the difference. If too little has been paid, this will be settled with the deposit of the room. All in all, you have to pay an amount of: € 4707.50 + € 1500.00 = € 6207.50 before the start of the rental. This is a high amount, but on balance it does not matter whether you pay per month or the entire period at once.
