Hi everyone, We are Syanne (29, studying/working), Martijn (33, working), Rutger (29, working), Sven (34, working) and Lyona (30, working). We are looking for a new roommate for our nice place in Nieuwegein as of August 25th! Preferably a woman in our age category (3 to 3), but if you send a super nice message as a man, you can always do that. You will live in a room of 28m2 on the first floor and share a bathroom with Martijn. In addition, we have a large shared living room, kitchen (with dishwasher!), front garden (with sun, lounge set and hammock) and backyard where we regularly eat together. We are a close-knit house, we like it when you join our summer evenings in the garden or our annual kayak trip! Nothing is mandatory, but it is appreciated. This makes living together very pleasant :) The rent for this room is about 380 euros per month. In addition, we all pay 160 euros per month for energy, water, cleaning costs, waste tax, etc. You are also required to carry out your weekly cleaning task and you have to mow the lawn about 3 times a year together with another roommate. It's not 'just a room', because you live in a communal housing project. Our garden is adjacent to a beautiful courtyard that we share with about 40 others. In total, about 140 people live in the project, so there is a lot of room for social contact. This is also the whole approach of the project. There are weekly activities that you can participate in, something for everyone. So you never have to be alone. Everyone respects each other's privacy and nothing is mandatory, withdrawing is of course no problem! The room will probably be available on August 25 and we want to schedule a hospiteer evening at the end of August/beginning of September.
