A Waitrose can be found on Warwick Way, and there is a large Sainsbury’s on Wilton (both of which less than 5 min walk).Local RestaurantsFor more upmarket dining: A Wong (Wilton Road) serves excellent Chinese, while Kazan (Wilton Road) is a great Turkish Restaurant and About Thyme (Wilton Road) modern European. Grumbles (Churton Street) is an old favourite and a true Pimlico institution. Slightly further afield are The Orange (Pimlico Road) for Modern European, and La Poule au Pot (Ebury Street) for traditional French, both of which we rate highly. For more casual: Cyprus Mangal (Warwick Way) makes great kebabs. Both the Marquis of Westminster (Warwick Way) and The Queens’ Arms (Warwick Way) serve good pub grub. O Sole Mio (Belgrave Road) is a very nice, family-run Italian. For breakfast: Regency Café (Regency Street), Gail’s Bakery (Churton Street), or Pimlico Fresh (Wilton Road). For afternoon tea: Peggy Porschen (Ebury Street).Local AttractionsPimlico is a mainly residential area, with a number of nice shops and restaurants. There are a number of squares which can make for a nice place to walk around and sit (weather depending!); we recommend St George’s Square. The river Thames is a short walk away. Over the river is Battersea Park, which is a great place to visit. There are great places to walk or jog, as well as tennis courts and even a boating lake. There is a relatively new development near Victoria station called Cardinal place. This contains numerous shops, restaurants, gyms and a cinema.TrainsPimlico has its own underground station (Victoria Line), located on Rampayne Street. However, it is normally more convenient to use Victoria station (Victoria Street), which in addition to the Victoria line, also serves the circle and district linesBusesBelgrave Road (bus number 24). Victoria stations has several bus stops.Key Selling PointsRecently renovated ground and lower ground floor maisonette in the heart of Pimlico.
