Newly Renovated City Centre Flat (Available From: 26.08.2024) About this space This spacious one bedroom flat offers up to 4 guests a cosy base from which to explore this wonderful city. On the 2nd floor of a grade II listed building, it is situated down one of York's many alleyways, right in the heart of the centre, close to all the amazing shops, cafes, and restaurants York has to offer. A fantastic location to explore the many cultural and historic attractions in York city centre. The space The entrance hallway leads to all rooms: a double bedroom, kitchen diner, living room, and a newly fitted shower room. There are coat hooks and shoe storage shelves in the entrance. There is underfloor heating in the shower room, and we recently decorated the interior as our second home, with things that we love in a quirky bohemian style! The curtains are good quality and interlined. The living room is vibrant and characterful. It has a large L shaped sofa which converts into a double bed, two comfy armchairs, and a Smart TV (no Freeview). The TV is internet connected; broadcast services can be viewed by using the connected Chromecast device and streaming from BBC iPlayer or ITV apps on a mobile phone or laptop. The kitchen diner is well equipped as we sometimes live in the flat. There is use of a fridge freezer, washing machine, electric hob, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There will be some complimentary tea/coffee waiting for you which I am sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey! The bedroom contains a good quality king size bed, a hanging unit, chest of drawers, and an armchair. The shower room is modern and spacious, where you will no doubt enjoy the extra large shower! There is underfloor heating in here, as well as an electric heater. Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. If wish to purchase more for your stay there is a Tescos Express a few minutes walk away. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire flat. Entrance is via a communal door. Other things to note ACCESS: My flat is located on the second floor of a converted building. Please note there is no lift. Prams can be kept in the ground floor communal hallway. CHECK IN Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner?s schedule. KEYS The keys are kept within a key safe and the code will be provided 24 hours before check in. Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them. TRAVEL COT A travel cot and mattress are available to borrow upon request, subject to availability, and at an additional cost of £20. Please ensure you message before hand so that I can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet.
